Natalia Wilson, M.D. MPH is Executive Director of the Center for Healthcare Delivery and Policy at Arizona State University (ASU) and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. She is an internist and previous physician partner at Thunderbird Internal Medicine, Ltd.

Dr. Wilson conducts research on implementation of unique device identification (UDI) in health systems with particular interest in UDI use in clinical care and in Real-World Evidence studies on medical devices. Research projects have been funded by the US FDA, PCORI, AHRQ, and the National Evaluation System for health Technology (NEST) Coordinating Center. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts, and reports on UDI, created UDI webpages, and provided education on UDI in national and international venues. Dr. Wilson was a member of the Planning Board for NEST. She has served and continues to serve on multiple UDI workgroups and advisory boards.

Dr. Wilson is also an educator on population health and the science of healthcare delivery, which she has taught extensively at ASU, Mayo, and through executive education. During COVID-19 she has also engaged in work at ASU on healthcare delivery system emergency preparedness, response, and recovery. Prior positions held at ASU include Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Health Solutions, Liaison for the ASU-Mayo Certificate Program in the Science of Health Care Delivery, Associate Director in the School for the Science of Health Care Delivery, Academic Program Director for Medical Studies, and Co-director of the Health Sector Supply Chain Research Consortium in the W. P. Carey School of Business.

Dr. Wilson received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Cornell University, her Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University and trained in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona.
