Tobias Polak is Director Real-World Data at myTomorrows. myTomorrows is a platform for patients, physicians, and medical companies to find and access investigational drugs. Tobias has bachelors and master's degree in econometrics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (cum laude) and he is a part-time PhD student at the Erasmus Medical Center. At the Erasmus departments of Biostatistics and Health Technology Assessment, he studies the same topic from his day-to-day job: trying to bridge the need for patients and physicians to faster access investigational medicine with high-quality evidence generation for biopharma and regulators. Among his >15 publications, he recently authored an article dedicated specifically to Expanded Access and Rare Disease Evidence Generation. He is a member of and visiting scholar to New Yorks University Compassionate Use and Pre-Approval Access (CUPA) subgroup on Ethics and Real-World Evidence (ERWE), NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
